The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) New Delhi announced Written Test Result for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2015. The test was held by UPSC across India on 19th April 2015. The candidates qualified in the written shall now require to undergo for Personality Test / Interview held by Service Selection Boards (SSBs) of the Ministry of Defence. The finally selected candidates shall get admission based on cloices and eligibility into the 135th Course and for the 97th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Training: Training is scheduled to commence in December 2014.
Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for 4 year B.Tech Course in Electronics & Communication Or Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. During the course, Cadets will be allotted Executive or Engineering including Naval Architecture specialization or Electrical Branch. On completion of the course, B.Tech. Degree will be awarded by Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU).
Note: The entire cost of training, including books and reading material will be borne by the Indian Navy. The Cadets will also be provided with Free Clothing and Messing.

Selection Criteria: Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be issued call up for Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews based on their performance in Law Degree. If a candidate possesses higher qualification with better percentage, his higher qualification will be considered for cutoff. Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) [IHQ-MoD(Navy)] reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage. No communication will be entertained on this account.

The total duration of SSB interviews is of 5 days, consisting of Stage 1 (Day One) and Stage 2 (Four days).
