DTU B.Tech. (Evening) Entrance Examination 2012

Delhi Technological University (DTU) will hold an Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the four year B.Tech. (Evening) Degree Program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, for the academic year 2012-13 on 24.06.2012  (Sunday).

The candidates, who
(a) Have passed State Board Diploma Examination in Engineering of Three year duration in any corresponding branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters/three years) of 55% (45% for SC/ST candidate).
(b) Have served for a period of not less than One year as on 1st day of September, 2012 in an established engineering works/organization, located in the NCT of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas shall be eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

The Bulletin of Information containing details of the admission procedure, Application form and Syllabi of the Entrance Examination is available from B.Tech. (Evening) office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, w.e.f. 23.04.2012 (Monday) on all working days (Monday to Saturday) between 2.00pm to 7.00 pm on submission of Crossed Bank Draft/pay order of Rs. 1,000/- issued from State Bank of India only drawn in favour of ‘The Co-ordinator, B.Tech. (Evening) Entrance Examination-2012’ payable at Delhi.

Candidate desirous of obtaining the Bulletin of Information by post should send their
request to the Deputy Co-ordinator (Admn.), B.Tech. (Evening) Office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 enclosing the herewith a self addressed envelope (25cm X 18cm) and a crossed Bank Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 1,100/- from State Bank of India only. Request for issue the bulletin by post should reach the office on or before 03.05.2012 (Thursday). The last date of Sale of Application Form at DTU in person is 21.05.2012 (Monday) till 5.00 pm.
The completed Application Form should reach the Deputy, Co-ordinator(Admn.) on or before 21.05.2012 latest by 7.00 pm either in person or by post.
Applications received after 21.05.2012 will not be considered, in any case.
NO MODE OF PAYMENT OTHER THAN THE ONE MENTIONED ABOVE SHALL BE ENTERTAINED.

Mode of Admission Nirma University B.Tech Admission 2012

1. 75% seats shall be filled-in by the candidates who have passed 12 Science Examination from the schools located in Gujarat State on the basis of merit considering equal weightage of marks obtained in AIEEE 2012 and the marks obtained in the theory of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

2. 25% seats shall be filled-in by the candidates who have passed 12 Science Examination with above mentioned subjects from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) on the basis of All India Rank of AIEEE 2012.

3. In case, if % of final merit marks arrived are equal in case of 75% seats category, the criteria, in sequence, for deciding the merit order will be followed as per the admission rules of Government of Gujarat.

4. Provisional merit list with detailed programme of counseling will be displayed at the office of the Institute and on the website: http://www.nirmauni.ac.in.

5. Those who are called for counseling will be informed by either of the modes e.g. post / courier / telephone / e-mail / SMS.

6. Reservation policy for SC/ST/SEBC will be as per ACPC, GoG guidelines.

Counseling Process Nirma University B.Tech Admission 2012

• Applicant shall remain present in person with all original documents for verification on the notified date.
• If applicant is unable to remain present in person, due to unavoidable circumstances, parent with authority letter from applicant will be permitted, provided the admission committee is satisfied for the genuinity about the applicant’s inability to remain present.
• If applicant does not remain present on the scheduled date & time and remain present afterward, he / she will be offered admission in the programme available at that time.
th • If applicant has passed 12 Science examination from board other than Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board, he / she will be required to obtain the eligibility certificate from Nirma University for which he/she will be required to pay ` 500/-.

JET Punjab 2012 Last Date Extended

The Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2012 of Punjab State Technical Education and Industrial Training Board has extended till 25.04.2012
, according to different news sources. Earlier the last date for submission of application form was 02.04.2012. On the basis of JET 2012 admission shall be offered in 129 government and non-government polytechnics with a total of 60,000 seats.


Eligibility : The test shall be open to candidates who have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English.

Admission to MBA (SEM)

Admission to the MBA (Software Enterprise Management) Programme will be made on the basis of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2012. Students meeting the following criteria will be eligible to appear in the CET 2012:

Eligibility Criteria 1) B.E./ B.Tech with minimum of 60% marks or, 2) M.Sc(CS), M.Sc(IT), M.Sc(Electronics) with minimum of 60% marks or, 3) MCA with minimum of 60% marks.

Note : The Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they are able to produce the proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualifications at the time of counseling/admission or latest by 31st October 2012 (Wednesday) to their Concerned Dean/Principal/Director of their respective School/College/Institute where the admission has been granted*.

SYLLABUS FOR CET-2012
Subjects of Common Entrance Test:-
(i) English Language & Comprehension
(ii) Numerical Ability & Mathematics
(iii) Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
(iv) Computer Science

Instructions for CET-2012:-
(i) The test paper will contain 150 objective-type questions in all. Each question will be provided with four alternative answers marked as (1), (2), (3) and (4). Out of these, only one correct or most appropriate answer should be selected and marked on the OMR answer sheet;
(ii) Each question shall carry four marks;
(iii) There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer;
(iv) The Test will be of two and a half hours duration and will carry 600 marks;
(v) The medium of the tests will be English only;
(vi) Candidates should bring a black ball point pen to the Examination Hall for writing/marking responses (darkening the ovals) on OMR answer sheet. Use of pencil is not allowed;
(vii) No requests for re-checking, re-evaluation, reassessment or scrutiny of OMR answer sheet will be entertained;
(viii) For those who are unable to appear in the test on the scheduled date for any reason, retest will not be held by the University under any circumstances. No refund of fee is permissible;

Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Pharmacy Test (MP PEPT) 2012 for admission into 1st semester degree programs of Engineering and degree and diploma Pharmacy Courses offered by engineering and phramacy colleges of MP.

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) is administering authority for MP PEPT 2012

Eligibility - MP PEPT 2012 General For All Aspirants

    You should be an Indian Citizen.
    You can also apply for MP PEPT 2012, if you have domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
    For domicile of MP, you should fulfil following conditions:

       1. You should have studied from an institute in M.P for at least 3 years.
       2. You should be a bonafide resident of MP.
       3. You should be son/daughter of an employee of M.P Government or its ex-employee or a Central Government/Defence/Railways/Post & Telegraph employee or ex-employee posted in M.P or a person settled in M.P under Government sanctioned resettlement act.

    You can apply for MP PEPT 2012, if you are appearing in your final year examination.
    You can appear in MP PEPT 2012 for admission to pharmacy courses, if you have cleared qualifying examination from open school.

Eligibility for B.E. Courses

    You should have scored 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology as the third subject from any M.P state board school or any other recognized board.

Application Procedure for MP PEPT 2012

    You can apply for MP PEPT 2012 by filling an online application form on official website of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) (www.vyapam.nic.in) or www.mponline.gov.in
    You can submit application fee for MP PEPT 2012 of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST) online through Credit or Debit card or Net Banking.
    You can download your Test Admit Card (TAC) from official website of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) (www.vyapam.nic.in). TAC will not be sent through post.

Exam Pattern - MP PEPT 2012

    MP PEPT 2012 is a multiple choice question test of 3 hours. The MP PEPT 2012 consists of 200 questions from Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry.
    For admission to B.E. through MP PEPT 2012, you are required to attempt 100 questions of Mathematics, 50 questions of Physics and 50 questions of Biology or Chemistry or Biotechnology.
    For admission to B.Pharma/ D.Pharma through MP PEPT 2012, you are required to attempt 100 questions of Physics, 50 questions of Chemistry and 50 questions of Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology.
    There is no negative marking in MP PEPT 2012.

Stipend: Every successful participant will be paid Rs.1000/- for the programme.

Selection: Selection will be made through a written examination to be held at various centres in Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

Master’s Programme: Bachelor Degree in related field with an OGPA not less then 6.000/ 10.000/ or 3.000/5.000 or 55% marks in aggregate in case of the universities where these scales are not applicable

M.Tech: In M.Tech Programme admission shell be made first based on the qualified GATE score .Vacant seats shell be filled based on OGPA/ % of marks of B.Tech. The candidate should have secured at least an OGPA of not less then 6.000/ 10.000 / 3.000 / 5.000 or 55% marks in aggregate in case of the institutions/ Universities where these scales are not applicable in the Bachelor's degree.

However, admission towards seats for other state candidates in M.Tech. Agricultural Engineering majors shall be made through Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR. In case, domicile candidates of uttarakhand are not available for the sanctioned seats, the same shall be filled from candidates of other States

B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Sc (Food Technology) : Intermediate Agriculture / Science with Mathematics or Biology or equivalent examination

B.Vc. & AH : Intermediate Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English or equivalent examination and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for general category and 40% for reserved categories (OBC/ SC/ ST) in aggregate in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English)

Eligibility Criteria

For M.V.P.H.: MBBS or B.V.S.C. & A.H. degree of the University of Calcutta or any university recognized by the University of Calcutta. Preference will be given to those candidates who are i) deputed by the Central / State Government or other recognized bodies or ii) having at least one year experience in the field of Veterinary Science.

For Nursing Education:
