National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology
Admission to 1st year of 3-year B. Sc. Program in Hospitality & Hotel Administration 2010-11 academic session
Courses Offered: JEE – 2010 for admission to 1st year of 3-year B. Sc. Program in Hospitality & Hotel Administration 2010-11 academic session.
Eligibility: Minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject from recognized Board/ Universities. Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2010 can also appear in JEE-2010.
Age Limit: For candidates from General, OBC and Physically Handicapped categories upper age limit is 22 years as on 1.7.2010, only those whose date of birth falls on or after July 01, 1988 are eligible.
Incase of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates upper age limit is 25 years as on 1.7.2010, only those SC/ ST candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July, 01, 1985 will be eligible.
How To Apply: Candidates may apply by downloading Application Format duly filled in along with fee of Rs.950/- for General/ OBC categories & Rs.500/- for SC/ ST and PH categories through demand draft / pay order drawn in favour of ‘National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, NOIDA’ payable at NOIDA and send it by ‘ SPEED POST’ to JEE CELL, NCHMCT, A-34, Sector - 62, NOIDA 201301 latest by 29th March, 2010.
NCHMCT shall dispatch printed OMR Application Form & Information Brochure 2010 to such candidates for filling it up and sending back to JEE Cell, NCHMCT, NOIDA by 12th April, 2010.
Downloaded application without prescribed fee shall not be considered. Demand Draft drawn after 29.03.2010 shall also not be considered for sending the printed application form and information brochure.

Joint Entrance Examination – 2010, Orissa
For admission to B.Tech., B.Arch., MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm., MCA and MBA courses and Lateral entry to B.Tech., B.Pharm courses in Government and Government aided private Colleges.

Eligibility: (A) For admission to First Year Bachelor programme in
Engineering/Technology : Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one from Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology or pass in 10+3 diploma course in engineering including those having less than 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE&T, Orissa or equivalent.
Architecture : (i) Pass or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2010 from a recognized Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate. OR
(ii) Pass in 10+3 diploma in any stream recognized by central/state govt. with 50% aggregate marks. OR
(iii) International baccalaureate diploma after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. For SC/ST candidates, the aggregate is 45% marks in the above said examination.
Pharmacy : Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry and one from Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology or pass in 10+3 diploma course in Pharmacy including those having less than 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE& T Orissa or equivalent.
MBBS / BDS : Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST) and with age between 17 and 25 years as on 31 .12.2010 (relaxab|e up to 3 years for SC/ST candidates).
(B) For admission to First Year Masters programme in
(i) Computer Application (MCA) : Pass or appearing in 2010 three years Bachelor's Degree examination in any discipline with pass in Mathematics at 10+2 level or in +3 level.
(ii) Business Administration (MBA) : Pass or appearing in 2010 three years Bachelor’s Degree examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University.
(C) For admission to Second Year Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy Lateral Entry
Pass or appearing in 3 years diploma course in Engineering, Pharmacy with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE&VT, Orissa or equivalent.
(D) For admission to Second Year Engineering/ Technology under Lateral Entry
Pass or appearing in 2010, for the Bachelors Degree examination of three years duration in Science from any University of Orissa or equivalent recognized by UGC and have passed with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (First Division) withMathematics at +3 level.
(E) For admission to Second Year Pharmacy under Lateral Entry
Pass or appearing in 2010, for the Bachelors Degree examination of three years duration in Science from any University of Orissa or equivalent recognized by UGC and have passed with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (First Division) with Biology at + level.
The ratio of distribution of seats under lateral entry for Diploma : B.Sc. is 80:20.
OUTSIDE STATE CANDIDATE : Outside State candidates are not eligible for admission in Govt. Colleges but they are eligible for admission to private colleges except private Medical (MBBS/BDS) Colleges.

Examination Schedule:
Date of Examination: 11th April, 2010 (SUNDAY)
Paper 1: 9.00 am to 12.00 Noon
Paper 2: 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
Paper-1 and Paper—2 will each have separate sections in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Both papers will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
