The University of Delhi (DU) invites applications for M.Tech Nanoscience and M.Tech Nanotechnology beginning academic session 2012. These courses are sponsored by DST.
A Candidate must have qualified the Joint Admission Test (JAM-2012) to M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Electronics conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) AND few seats are also available for meritorious candidates qualifying the M.Sc. Admission Entrance Test (2012) conducted by the University of Delhi.
Bachelor’s Degree with Physics/Chemistry/Electronics as a subject with 60% aggregate
marks for General Category & 55% for all reserved categories.
Completed at least one year course in Mathematics.
All the selected candidates shall be provided scholarship of Rs. 3,000/- p.m. to be sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India) OR by University of Delhi.
1. Approved and Sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (D.S.T.), Ministry of
Science & Technology, Government of India.
2. Selected Students may be sent to reputed National and/or International laboratories for
dissertation/course work.
No of Seats 15 (Reservation to SC/ST candidates offered as per university rules)
Short listed candidates will be invited for appearing in Interview, based on performance admission will be offered.

- Last date for the receipt of the application form is 29th June 2012, Friday along with the demand draft of Rs. 250/- as application fee in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at New Delhi.
