Shall I booze in New Year

That is individual decision. Different governments has different drinking ages. If you are reading this blog I suppose you are around 20 year old. Whether you should booze or not is your choice. I can't control you. I am nobody to preach you, but if you ask me personally I would say buy your 1st booze out of your fist pay check and tell your mother and fiancee too.
Alcohol in any format is injurious to health. Its known culprit to make you inhuman. But I am pretty sure if you tell your mom, wife or girlfriend that you want to try a drink, you will never go insane. As someone has well said 'child learns first lesson of nationalism between mom's kisses and dad's affection.'
If you do not booze, Excellent
If you want to try, its OK
If your parents knowing what are you up to, it's perfect.
Definition of sin was perhaps not created by God but any action that hurts other equal human for no reasons is a sin. Drinking and driving is a Sin and Drinking is bad for health.
Over to you!!!

5 keys to not fail in any examination

  1. Make a time table and stick to it. Our body releases necessary enzymes in set times to perform different tasks. You will perform better in set hours.
  2. Do not bunk classes. Attend every lecture. Even if the professor not interests you, then to be in class. How much boring a professor is but he / she always has mastery in certain topics. Wait for the D-day.
  3. Make notes in the classroom. Two reasons; 1. you will have important points handy, 2. when you write it leaves an impression in your mind. You are tend to remember better. Also when you have notes you can help a friend next day who was absent in class.
  4. Rewrite. You have short notes made from the classrooms. Rewrite a fresh copy in detail. You will remember better.
  5. Revise. We are tend to forget. That is human nature. Revise as often as you can.

How many hours to study for success

The big question every school student faces is how many hours he /she should study for success.
This is also worry point for many parents and educators.
I have seen parents pushing children to study more more and more. But how much is too much???
There is no quick fix formula, how much one should study depends on many things. Studying for more hours never applies directly for acquiring good grades.
You study to score better but how much?
Let's do a simple math here.
1. 1 day equal 24 hours.
2. 1 school day equal 8 hours.
3. Traveling to school equal 2 hours.
4. Time for a good night sleep equal 7 hours an average.
5. Time for sports equal 2 hours.
6. Time for other activities equal 1 hours.
7. Sum total of point 2 to 6 equal 20 hours.
8. Hours, remain in a day equal 4 hours.

No. Of hours may vary depending on for example may be distance traveled to school.
An average a student has 4 - 5 hours in hand.
So in my opinion a student should study 4 to 5 hours a day.
Success depends on how much you learn from studies and not on how much you remember.

Why hawkers are not restricted from nearby schools

Is eating healthy not part of school curriculum

Kids are national asset.
Do we leave our personal assets on open streets? No!
Then how come we can leave our national asset unguarded; if we do, that's cruel.
See any school building in India, outside its gates you will found hawkers selling food items.
I have nothing against hawkers, they are (perhaps) poor people and make both ends meet by selling eatables to hungry kids. But but wait a moment, Kids are national asset, hawkers are menace. So what we need to protect truly, national asset or menace?
Certainly our answer will be previous one. And if that is the case we need to protect our kids from bad food. Whether hawkers earn or not by selling eatables but certainly we loss huge sum owing to bad health of our kids.
Food sold on open streets is not a thing to eat. But our kids eat the same food everyday. What about their well being? How can we expect our kids to be champions when we cannot teach them good eating habits.
Kids are kids you cannot restrict them. But hawkers are grown up, they must be deflected away from nearby school premises. We cannot let our kids eat a food full of flies.

Kids need food too

After a six to eight hour of school any kids stomach will want food. They will eat whatever they will get. Some schools may have canteen but those eateries are also in pathetic conditions. The conditions of eateries must need to be improved. In addition, outside schools government require to set op Kiosks selling healthy foods. This way on one hand some people will get organized work while our kids will get something good to eat when in hunger.

Health is Wealth is not only good in books, its good on real grounds too. Let's take the first step in nation building. Let's teach them to eat healthy, play heartily and be a winner.

Why physical exercise is essential for good grades

Good grades comes from burning mid night oil. But if you are not exercising your body muscles you are not studying it well. Reason, brain is part of body, if you are eating 2 almonds a day to boost your memory but not exercising your body muscles perhaps the nutrition won't work well. Burning energy is essential to create new energy.
I am not a medico or health professional but without hesitation I can say exercising works like cleansing. When you exercise, you sweat, in order body toxins washed out and create room for fresh new energy.
Exercise makes you thirsty and hungry, your body absorbs nutrition well, you drink more water and you sleep much better.
When your body is healthy, your brain will be healthy. And healthy brain question more?
To achieve good grades you need to ask more questions? Those questions shall come from brain, and when you ask a question, you seek answer of it and then ask bigger questions.
Physical exercise is not a magic bullet, but from experiences I know when I am physically active I perform better than the lazy days.
Create those healthy neurons, exercise daily, hit the Gym.

Why you should play outdoor sports

Studying computer science?
Great!
Staying in a Hostel?
Greater!!
Department is next to Hostel?
Great than greater!!!
You don't need go anywhere. Open your laptop, write lines of codes till you tired and then sleep in any position. After all this is hostel. So complete free and no interference from family. Occasional booze with friends with alright. When bored open laptop and play chess. Or Facebook is there blessed by Android.

Good, you are in college, you passed teen years and have 12 year certificate to show your success. All above things are good, pretty good, shows a sign of adulthood. But as you know nothing is permanent so not your adulthood.

Sports is not equivalent to Candy Crush and online games. I am not against computer games but your body muscles too need some care.

There is an old saying, healthy mind lives in healthy body.

No matter whether your studies need outdoor work or not but your body need outdoor activities. Get up, go to Gym.

Period!!!

Shall I dropout of college

This is admission time in India. Schools, colleges, universities and everywhere discussions are going around admissions.
Getting into a college is not easy, it was never easy. My personal analysis says, majority of admission seekers lags 10% behind in minimum qualifying criteria.
Story of Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Mukesh Ambani etc is very popular.
These people are college dropout but they made it big in life and career.
There is a prevailing thought among youths, if they can make it, so I can.
Definitely you can.
Dropping out of college is like leaving a train and walking distances.
These people are not failed, they are successful because they learned in few days what college teaches them over 4 years.
They didn't dropped out because they were not able to study, indeed they dropped out because they decided to learn faster.
You may argue that people like Sir Richard Branson are school dropout, school refuses to teach him. True. But wait a moment Sir Richard Branson is a teen entrepreneur, he ran a school magazine at very young age, and established virgin records at an age when other teens of his was into play.
You also can dropout if you can learn faster, can learn everyday, make failures your milestone and move fast.
If you are deciding to dropout because of less percentage of marks in last qualifying exam do it. But do not sit idle for years instead go out and find things unknown to you. Learn faster, and find a sweet thing in which you can make your career.
College is not compulsory but a medium to teach you new things and show a way for life. If you are going to drop out or do away with college find a medium of learning.
It not matter where you hang your coat, but what matter is you have a coat to hang.
